STUDIO POLICIES:

Arrival

   It is very important that students come to class on time; lack of proper warm-up can cause injury

   and late arrivals are disruptive.

Departure

   Please pick up students promptly after class.  Isabelle’s Dance Time teachers cannot watch

   children outside the studio while they are conducting classes.

Studio Behavior

   Students are asked to be quiet and courteous upon entering the studio.  Food and beverages are

   not allowed in the studio.  The studio phone is for emergency calls only.

 DRESS REQUIREMENTS:

 Ballet

   Girls/Women:  Pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and leotards of any color for all levels.  Ballet sweater

   or tight fitting sweater may be worn for warmth.  Ballet skirts may be worn at any level. Hair must be

   secured away from the face and neck.  No dangling jewelry.

   Boys/Men:  White T-shirt, black jazz pants or sweat pants and black ballet slippers.

Jazz, Modern and Tap

   Girls/Women: Leotard, tights, and unitard of any color.  Black jazz or tap shoes.

   (For MODERN DANCE, footless tights are preferred and shoes are not needed.

    Hair must be secured away from the face and neck.  No dangling jewelry.

   Boys/Men:  Jazz pants and sweat pants may be worn with any T-shirt. Black jazz or tap shoes.

  “Proper Dance Clothing” makes it possible to correct body alignment, which is important to a

   student’s proper dance technique training.  Therefore we ask:

                        “ NO baggy shorts, including boxer shorts and NO OVERSIZED clothing”.
